THE MAN BEHIND THE MUSIC

Marcus Manderson (AKA “Da Fingaz”) is an accomplished musician, music producer, composer and audio engineer. Crafting music on a daily basis using a number of tools he has at hand, Marcus works to create inspiring musical journeys, continuing to serve his passion for music.

Layered with his background as a church musician, his musical influences from his home state of Virginia (including Timbaland, Pharrell/Neptunes, Bink, Nottz, and Teddy Riley). He was also influenced by his parents as his mother always played Gospel music and his father, being Jamaican, always played reggae music. Marcus can easily adapt and create music across various genres. Through social media, Marcus strives to share his music with millions of people and to inspire them with his music. 

His musical approach has earned him opportunities to create music for National Geographic, the Natural Resources Defense Council, museum exhibitions, apps, independent short films, and recording artists. 

Marcus currently uses Logic Pro as his main music production tool. He is based out of his studio in Northern Virginia where he enjoys spending time with his biggest inspirations: his wife and their 2 children.
